In-building System Solutions

Today, most mobile data traffic comes from indoor environments. However, concrete walls and glass windows can significantly weaken outdoor signals. This makes indoor coverage essential for reliable 2G, 4G, and 5G network performance. YSF offers In‑building Systems (IBS) to address this challenge. Based on project budget, site conditions, and network capacity requirements, multiple deployment options are available to meet varying project needs:

1. Wireless Repeater

Wireless repeater solutions are typically deployed for short-range mobile signal relaying — in small residences, private villas, small offices, underground parking lots, and similar environments. Based on the required coverage area, YSF offers a full range of power levels to suit diverse deployment scenarios. In this wireless repeater solution, the donor antenna is installed outdoors, at a location with strong and stable 2G, 4G, and 5G signals, oriented toward the operator’s base station. All system components are interconnected via splitters and coaxial RF cables, as shown in the diagram below (splitters omitted):

2. Optical Fiber Repeater

Optical Fiber Repeater solutions are typically deployed for medium- to long-range mobile signal relaying — in large malls, stadiums, transportation hubs, large factories, and multi-floor office buildings. The solution uses a master unit as the head-end to convert mobile radio signals into digitized signals and transmit it over optical fiber to remote units located near the target coverage areas. Since signal loss over fiber is extremely low, the distance between the master unit and remote units can reach up to 20 km. A typical network diagram is shown below:
