1. Wi-Fi Base Network Location

As shown below, in the WLAN Network Solution a Wi-Fi Base Station generally forms an access transmission link together with a Wi-Fi CPE.

2. Outstanding Performance

Wi-Fi Point-to-Multipoint (PTMP) bridge consists of two parts, the Wi-Fi Base Station and the Wi-Fi Client Perspective Equipment (the Wi-Fi CPE).
PTMP AC Series Wi-Fi Base Station delivers 600+ Mbps throughput via its unique and powerful RF design that supports up to 256QAM modulation and 31 dBm output power. 1.2 GHz dedicated CPU ensures swift data processing and high packet per second rate (PPS) which is important for real time data transmission applications. Equipped with two Gigabit Ethernet ports, one with PoE passthrough, the unit allows powering and connecting two devices on the tower (another Wi-Fi BASE or IP camera). The Wi-Fi BASE incorporates integrated surge and ESD protection according to IEC standards passing Class 4 requirements. Additionally, weatherproof IP-67 standard rated enclosure design allows using the equipment in any climate conditions.

3. Software Features

The full featured operating system makes this PTMP AC Series devices ideal not only for WISPs and operators, but also for security, enterprise or industrial applications. Proprietary data transmission protocol ensures smooth performance even in noisy areas at the same time delivering high capacity, low latency and high packet per second rate. QoS (quality of service) mechanism allows prioritizing mission critical data and efficiently transmitting voice, video or other real time data over the wireless network.

4. Powerful Software Tools

The PTMP AC series’ operating system ensures easy and rapid deployment of point-to-multipoint links with stable, fast performance. An intuitive and responsive user interface adjusts the layout based on the size of your screen. Essential tools including Setup Wizard, link test, antenna alignment, spectrum analyzer, and site survey are included to make set-up and troubleshooting more efficient. Automatic mechanisms such as auto-channel and automatic transmit power control optimize the link for maximum performance even in areas with high interference.

A link setup wizard guides the installer through the important steps of the set-up process.
The integrated spectrum analyzer demonstrates the noise floor in order to find the optimum frequency.
PTMP AC Series simplifies link configuration by supporting single side configuration as parameters are automatically applied to lave units once set on the master side

5. Easy Pre-Configuration

When configuring the devices, end-user device (e.g. your working PC) can connect to the master device by its ETH port through an UTP cable. To configure the slave devices automatically connect them as shown on the pictures below and wait until they appear in the List on the mater devices. The Master and Slaver devices can be connected with each other using wired or wireless connectivity when doing the configurations. PTMP AC Series devices can be discovered automatically by bonjour and SSDP protocols as well.
